Riyadh, Sep 2, 2026 — H.E. Chang Hua, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Saudi Arabia, visited the GRT booth (H3‑F180) during the LEAP 2026 exhibition in Riyadh. He held cordial discussions with the on‑site GRT team to learn about the company’s innovative optical‑communication achievements and market layout across the Middle East.
Held from August 31 to September 3 at Riyadh Exhibition & Convention Center, LEAP 2026 is one of the Middle East’s most influential technology events. It brings together global tech innovators with a focus on digital infrastructure and network communications, serving as a vital business platform for China‑Saudi digital‑economy cooperation. GRT showcased self‑developed fiber optic network cards and high‑speed optical modules for data centers, carrier networks and industrial private networks, demonstrating the technical strength of Chinese‑made optical‑communication hardware and drawing numerous global buyers.
During the visit, the GRT team briefed Ambassador Chang on corporate development, independent R&D progress, key product advantages, and business plans for participating in digital‑infrastructure projects under Saudi Vision 2030. Ambassador Chang praised GRT for independent innovation and proactive expansion into Middle‑Eastern markets.
